Higher National Diploma in Travel and Tour Management


Tourism is a fast-growing industry in the modern world which opens many career pathways annually. Sri Lanka as an Asian country also has a growing tourism industry with a considerable number of job requirements from island’s youth generation.

Higher National Diplomas in Travel and Tour Management course program in NVQ Level 5 and 6 is a good platform to develop the skills and knowledge required for middle-level jobs of Travel and Tourism Industry. The course duration is 3 years including 06 months’ foundation programme and On the Job Training Program for 06 months.

Ø OJT – On the Job Training (06 months)


An on the job training for 6 months after students completed NVQ Level 5 which supervision by the National Apprentice and Industrial Training Authority (NAITA). This Training especially focus to develop the industrial knowledge of students in relevant fields in Travel & Tourism and Hospitality Industry.
